I bought a dashmat for my KH, but realised that there were no holes for the little speakers that sit atop the dash at the base of the windscreen.
I therefore carefully measured and then cut out two circular sections of the dashmat in the appropriate position, and everything worked out great.
I was reluctant to throw out the 2 circular bits that I had cut out, and was looking for places where to put them - As it turns out, they fit exactly at the bottom of the cupholders! No more spills......
I know it's simple and trivial, but I'm pretty happy about this win-win situation!
Not sure if many people still use dashmats, but I've always had them and reckon it's a good preventative measure against sun damage/cracking. It was just bothering me that I was losing sound quality with those 2 speakers being covered up......all fixed now :dancin:
