Just wondering how much mitsu will sell it in their Parts department and how much work it will be to install one In TJ ?????

good question ive noticed my seat is starting to wear aparently these seats give more room to the back passengers as well. there wouldnt be any need to install the air bags.

It will still be expensive for parts.

$250 bucks is prolly how much mistsu spent on modifying the TJ seats to the TL ones :lol:


if there anything like when i tried to get leather verada seats, you'd be looking at 1000buckes plus per seat!!

I'd dare say they'll bolt straight in.

Hell TZABOY has a 99 Verada Xi interior in his car and it bolted in!

i think he was refering to moding them to the full power options and matching them with the new interior. chances are they would keep the same base plate right through the model range.

That extra $1000 must be to cover the cost of all the drugs the "ugly bumper" designer fella must've been on.

dont forget that the tl seats have the side airbags as well.

nnno i dont need side air bag, coz i hardly think that any one can be saved from them unless other wise they open 5 sec before the impact.

the bags are in the seat... so will be an automatic fixture.... i don't think they'll take em out for you!!! and the $250 would be the price over and above the TJ ones... (not the total price)

as for the 5 secs... those bags go off bloody fast!!!
and if someone hits the side of you're vehicle, those bags will be between you and the side of the door before you even go close to hitting the door!!

if you get hit by the front bag, there's a good chance you'll come out with a bloody nose, cause they hit hard, real hard... they have too, to stop you hitting the wheel!!!

(and i'm not sure how they work with your arms stuck out the window, cause at the rate they go off, it would break your arm!!)

It is illegal to have any part of your body outside the confines of your car.
So if you had you arm outside and had a crash which triggered the airbag
and you arm gets broken by the airbag then tough luck.
