Just wondering what type of glue would need to be used in order to re attach the side modlings (the bump strips halfway up the door) on a TE - TF magna. I know that there is clips that these go on with but I think I'll probably stuff them when I take the strips off.

Also, any ideas on how to fit my new rear pods to the rear bumper? SSV has fitted the side skirts and front lip with screws and glue, but I'm a little lost with these ones becuase there is not really a "good" spot to screw these buggers on.

thanks

The side strips either have clips or strips of double sided tape, not sure of the te/f series as mine has clips which are only a few cents each from mitsu if you need to buy them. Most of them can be accessed from inside the door and released if you do not want to buy them.

Mine were stuck on with a Urethane. Similar stuff to what the windows are stuck in with.

I'd recommend that, or an epoxy...You'd want something that's flexible though, I don't know for sure if the 2 part epoxy's are that good in that sense.

ive taken mine off. Its just double sided tape and small clips. I doubt ull break the clips. They came off pretty easily. Just get some double sided tape and reattach them. Use urethane or an epoxy to attach the rear pods. They arent heavy so wont need any screws. Autobahn or bunnings should have what you need.

This sounds dodgey but it's what they used in earlier body moudlings .. No Nails.. It's got enough flex to take body movement and rattles etc and works well. However it will never come off !

Either use above double sided tape designed for this. The 3 M stuff is hell strong !
