Me and wez have been having a discussion.. should he get chrome rear tail lights.

Ant has been bugging me pretty much consistently to get these lights just in case it wasn't obvious enough. In fact his last comment was along the lines of when are you going to get a girlfriend?........... so i can bug her to get you to buy those lights.

i would see which is most popular and then do the opposite, thats if you want your car unique, and after all it is your ride.

get tinted ones or Verada ones

the verada ones are nic but nothing unique and so far i have never seen a pair of those around though Ant has said he had.

actually what do you mean by tinted ones? The old White lights i'm always thought of as F@##$ugly but if there are some dark tinted ones i could be interested.

you could also paint your tail lights poo coloured and it would be unique.....but it would still....look like poo :P

I honestly am bewildered at how many cars have these "altezzas" nowadays. A lot of mods I might not like but i can see how some would. With these, I can't...at all :sick:

I'm starting to agree with the too ricy look, verada ones don't interest me, tinted ones aren't different enough. Crappers :\
In contrast to the altezzas being everywhere, i've seen heaps of Lancers with them but not one magna. I wouldn't mind seeing a silver magna with them on and i can make up my mind fully.

and dont fork out another $50 or whatever to buy them tinted.. go tint them yourselves.. im pretty sure thats all they do on ebay for that 'tinted performace' factor lol

spend your money on something that will enchance your car..

If your car is an exec, colour code it all. If its already colour coded, buy something for the interior, tint the windows, buy some mags, lower it..

Do all these types of things before you decide to become one of the altezza poofs...

I was considering purchasing some but i want it to look good not shlt, haven't seen any on a Magna yet in the flesh so won't decide till i know it absolutely looks good :)
Maybee go for the verada ones they aren't anything special compared to the stockys but they do look a little more pimpin ;)

Edit: actaully now that i enlarged the first pic of the lights they look royaly ****ed. they arent even LED and the orange bit it stupid real altezza's have an orange bulb so it all looks clear when its not flashing!

if u get rada rears, try and find at a wreckers, i got mine for 300 ozeparts want 310 for just one light!

With rada rears, doesnt it include a reversing lights?? ie. on the boot for the radas??

I see these lights on so many Lancers and other cars these days, the just look a bit to.. Bling maybe? Fake maybe? Im not sure.. Its a personal choice and nobody can say dont get them because its your ride.

These lights don't look AS bad on a silver car, but it still looks like queer eye for a straight guy have taken control of Chooky's car!

Ohh well i agree with the majority me thinks and will pass on the lights. Maybe one day someone will release something thats worth getting.

I was after a Elelgant look with a slight hard edge as well so those are probably too ricy and i'm not a fan of the other options.

I will start another post shortly looking into rims once again as i've been through so many catalogues and all the rims i like aren't Magna offset which really sucks.
