Not really a tech thing but does anybody know if its possible to get spray cans colourcoded to your car?...apparently autobarn do it.
And in going to keep writing in red 'ego' :)
Not sure if you can get it exactly the same.
But you can take the paint colour code into a Automotive paint store and they will make up a can for you..

i got the touch up paint from suepr cheap, $8.50 for the 150g can, its i'd say a 85% match of my color, good for stone chips etc, but really bad for big jobs (learnt this the hard way)....

Check with a automotive paint specialist (maybe not autobarn/supercheap), you may need to talk to a smash repairer or maybe a car dealership and find out who their supplier is (PPG/DUPONT/NASON etc) .I work closely with a place here in NSW where we supply to panelshops around the state, where we can basically put anything into a pressure pack. Check it out :)

I've had paint specifically mixed to suit an existing (faded) colour, and put into a pressure pack....however, I can't remember the name of the place where I got it done.
I think the cost was only about $10 or so, but that was several years ago.
Cheers,
Martin.

yeah you gotta take into consideration the color fading... if its kept in the sun its gunna fade quicker than under shade so you need to get the paint matched to the amount of fade with the color code of the original paint work

Theres a place called
Lonsdale Paint Supplies
Look them up for details.
You can give them the paint code you want and theyll mix it up for you and send it out if need be. I get all my paint supplies through them- great business they have.
$30 for the big can- but thats metallic paint so might be different for non metallic.
