Ok i promised in the old thread i would paint the dash but i was scared to do it as i only just got the car and i didn't want white even though its a white car, so because the door trims and seats are blue i thought hmm ill go a silver blue case i want it close to silver like a VR-X.
Well contrary to the cap of the spraytin its a bit more blue than i thought :shock: but anywhay here is the photos.

In the bright sun of the day its a little too blue hehe but i still like it, after sunset and at night it looks awesome, nearly all silver and very shiny :)
Took me about 2 hours all up, the driver side vent was a bugger to push back in and when it clicked i slipped and scrathed a heap of paint off and i was trying to put in in still wet lol i was in a hurry to drive, i fixed it up though and waited an hour before trying again :)

Undo the screws in the lower kick panel below the steering wheel and take off the bonnet latch and on the inside wall you have a black cable, its easy to pop it off and then the top bit of the console comes out, needs a bit of force though! :)

I like that blue actually, unlike that bright metallic blue that I'm pretty sure Wtchme's car has.

Yeah i am going to paint it when i get white sports dials because from the magnas ive seen with the dial surround painted and the stock black dials it takes your eyes away from it and makes it harder to see, the white dials should make them stand out against the blue :)

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback i was unsure what colour to go i was leaning towards white but i wanted to be different. :)

Was it hard to get the bit out infront of the plastic that covers the speedo? I did the rest of my console in white bout 2 weeks ago now and it turned out ok but after trying to get the console part around the a/c switches in and out i couldn't be bothered tyring to get that part out! Im going to do it in about a week though! Here is a few pics of how mine turned out! Let me know what you think?

Hey IcE_BoX your white looks really good i like it :)
The bit infront of the speedo is the easiest part, undo the 2 screws in the top of it drop your steering wheel down and it pops out with little or no force :)

Post up some piccy's if you do it.

I forgot to mention in my above post that your console looks awesome. I haven't seen it done in that colour before but it looks sweet as! I'll be doing it the other piece on Sunday if its that easy....thanx m8. Will post up some pics as soon as i get it done!

as eek says silver is best ... most people think it's boring cause everyone does it ... i done mine silver but i think painting it silver wont effect the resale of the car as much as a colour that is up and out there
