Hey guys,

Just wondering if there is anything important i should know when installing my headunit and speakers in my TJII on saturday. I have done heaps of mods to the stereo in my TR and know what i'm doing on the technical side of things, just wondering if there are any tricky bits on the TJII, like getting the old cd player out and the new one in. Is the dash accessible the same way? By taking the console out and removing the face plate, or is it different on the TJ?
Also with door speakers anything i need ot know or will my 6" pioneers slot straight in?
Just any general advice would be swell :).

6" speakers fit in fine.. Just becareful they arent too deep and hit the glass. (wind your window down when putting them in the check)

Well i'm glad you posted that, as it would have taken me quite awhile to figure that one out. Much harder than my TR lol.

Also, what are your thoughts on the stock 3rd gen speaker wires? The ones in my TR were ok stock.

its a pain in the ass getting the back speaker coveres off and back on so tigth lol
