Since last Time the Car Has had as follows done to it..
EVO 6 Spoiler
Lowered With Lovell superlow Fronts, And low rears
KYB Suspension all around
17"s.

CAI Will be done on sunday.
Unfortunatly, i f**ked up the holes for the spoiler...so its only being held in by the middle peg atm.....

I know Some May Hate it, Some May Love it, But The Car IMO Looks awesome as.

well it has certainly come a very long way.. not only does it look very impressive, it is also neat and 'individual'.. which is one thing i like about it..

still not a fan of that bloody nugde bar, but other than that, it looks great.

I suppose it would really mean a lot to you because you have put in so much hard work, and it really has paid off.. well done mate!

looks hot actually i don't mind that nudge bar, teh chrome strips in the wheel arches is differant but doesn't stand out, a nice touch. one tufftr. hehehe pun intended.

I've seen this car in the flesh, the paint is mint, the car is straight. Very good example of a 2nd gen. I dont even like this colour, but this car, makes it look awesome.
I say body kit and custom GT bonnet, and you'd have the ultimate TR!

I will be taking the garnish to be professionally sprayed as spray cans didn't cut it, and i did'nt want to ruin the whole look.

it will be getting a full detail tmorrow (buffing out as many swirls as i can see) and im working on CAI at the moment.

does anyone know how to stop the front 2 wheels from rubbing on full lock?

the bull bar - - - - - - - - Im leaving this on for a few reasons
1) i really can't be assed taking it off
2) Ive grown acustom to it
3) its a unique Thing, and as you all may of gathered lol its pretty unique.

Chances are this car wont be seen on any cruise or meet until i get my "P"s but hey if anyone wants to come down to my joint for a chat or whatever your more then welcome:)

Im really suprised It has gotten such a positive response, as i would of though the majority would of been "Not That f**ken Wing You idiot!"...But it has come up nice and the spray place did a neato job.

I think your priority now would be just to fix up the problems, like the broken side mirror. Maybe colour code those as well, at the same time as you get the boot garnish done.

Top work it looks awesome in my eyes and i really do like it :)
The nudge bar, contrary to everyone elses thoughts i think it looks great and hey incase **** happens it could come in handy to save part of your car :P

Looks good, just something about the front that doesn't look right for me... maybe it's too much maroon in the grille? Might need something there to kinda lighten up the front, maybe a little silver or chrome...
Anyway, looks good. Don't mind the wing.

that might be the vertical slats in the grille, just notcied it too, that does look a bit odd!

but from front on you cant see it:P

Future mods? Consider...
- Painting the brake cals (maybe waiting for the twin pots, eh)
- Tinting the side indicators (and maybe the tail lights?).

oh, and if ya lower the back more - lower the front as well - otherwise the front'll look too high. (personnally I think it looks okay the way it is - the car sits nice).

no don't lower it anymore!! its done just right. it's got a tough agile stance (almost rally-esque) that will be spoiled by excess lowering!

its exactly what i had envisaged for the car, i know when it first started out the nudge bar looked really cheesy, but this how i wanted it to look, and yeah so far so good:)

A top effort mate, very happy to see it 'done' - although that wil never be the case. Eventually you will get another car and start the process again.

Glad to be of assistance with the audio side of things. I'm like a proud parent......If some of the members here knew what some of your very first questions were to me about audio, I think they would be shocked to see the quality of your effort on your FIRST install. It is a credit to you and you should be extremely chuffed with yourself.

Thanks for actually listening to the information, advice and encouragement given by myself and other members, learning from our mistakes and experiences. You are now the shining light on what can be achieved on a shoestring budget - the mark by which all other 'budget' installs (and total modding) are measured.

I hope to be able to make a trip down to Melbourne in the next few months to crack open a couple of beers and have a really good look at it, plus give it a more aggressive tuning to the system. Then we will take it for a spin!

Mitsi - thanks a bunch mate, the Audio system still has a bit of fine tuning to do as far as im concerened. i Recently took the box out which moved a few wires, now i have alternator whine so i will have to take it back out and move the RCA's away from the power *sigh more work* But apart from that, bass is very nice, in fact i might open up my own massage parlour:P hehe.

Puck - i dont know if you can remember when you came to my joint, there were maybe 4 roundabouts on my road? lol i took one of those at 50kays an hour - mum didn't like it but the car stuck to the road well enough!
(wont be doing thata again though, the cheapass tyres wont stand up to that abuse me thinks)

Trip will happen anytime that I can get more than a week off from work. I have 3 weeks time in lieu and about 9 weeks of annual leave up my sleeve, just need to be able to take it.

But, I saw keep the nudge bar and the wing, after havign a good look, i think those 2 things really amke the car unique and give it the tough look you're after, yes the wring is excessive, but i think it blends in fairly well with the colour, and overall 'feel' of the car.
Keep as is, once again, great job.

i say watch out for your mates wanting a lift, they may say they like your car, but one time they will accidentaly **** up something, and then u might find yourself helping them out the car at 100+km/h :badgrin: . That's a custom garnish made from a TR garnish, bog, dead babies and some paint.

Neo - I just got 2 redback straight through mufflers with these on the end. cant complain. would love it louder though, although now i have like 43 cents left after today ill worry about it another time:P

-Giant Wing
-Enormous Towbar (as you have never towed anything in your life!!)

I couldn't agree more, it doesn't look bad anyway IMO. Put it this way, 4 times to three cars have we had people rear end us, and every time because of the tow bar we've come away with zero damage (every time its been dads car too, maybe he brakes too hard?), needless to say every time the car that hit us had a hole in the front, but thats their problem.

The nudge bar I don't know why you ever had, but the tow bar is fantastic protection and I would never remove it.

i got that lazy to take my towbar off (and if u saw it, it was *** HUGE!) but since my bro has a rattle gun handy i might as well take advantage of it :D

btw very nice job on the car, looks tops! cant wait to see it with the DOHC engine in it. personally i like the car with that wing on it, the wing actually kinda suits the car, and those tips look so damn huge!
