Well, it looks like i am going to to further put off modding my verada.:doubt:
Just got it back from the mechanic, and need new brake pads all round and machining of the discs, my radiator cap was broken and basically just sitting on the radiator, plus one of my engine mounts are broken, which apparently is why my car vibrates a little and idles rough.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to replace the drivers side front engine mount?? the mechanic told me that they think it would be fairly expensive.

nah engine mounts are cheap as all hell (someone on the forum sells better than stock ones) if u can work with a wrench then u could change that at home and radiator cap (hmmm lets see ebay like $3) machining the disks in a 95 falcon wagon costed me $97 (for me folks) and well new pads are cheap as helll too (supercheap)

yeah they replaced the radiator cap for me, cheers for that info

I think there's a thread somewhere about how to put in new mounts yourself.

From memory it requires a lump of wood, a jack and a spanner and a small amount of time out of your day. Do a search, I think I saw it not long ago.

since u need to machine ur disks why not save up a lil bit more and get cross rilled rotors. ull get new rotors and a new disc with it and ur car will stop better :D

i would like to do that, but my pads are at like 20% or something, how much are slotted rotors???
