gday!
well as the shocks on my TR make a great wooshing noise wenever i go over a bump, i am getting my shocks replaced, and lowering while im at it.
foned pedders thismorning to get a quote - $770 for the shocks $328 for the springs!
$1100 - no way im spendin that much on a car worth $2500
LUCKILY i have a mate at work, who enters cars in autosalon etc - so i asked him to get me a quote.......................
all up $625
thats for Gabriel Shocks, Superlows on the front, and lows on the back!
ahh the joys of knowing people :D what do u guys rekon about pedders price?

Yep, that's what you can expect from Pedders.
Remember, they get a lot of business from people who don't know any better and when they need suspension work done, they only know the one that advertises the most, and think that cos they specialise they'll be better/cheaper.

Contact Philcom, i reakon he quoted me cheaper than that for KYB and Kings Springs combined than just your shocks alone! (not fitted of course)

you can KYB shocks for the same price, and as you might of seen the superlow fronts and low rears just make the car look HAWT!
definatly conatct shawn and see what he will do for some KYB's and king springs/lovells.
installing them yourself is a piece of p**s too:)

That price doesn't suprise me. Bloody Gary Crick (dealership I bought my car from) wanted to charge me $500 to buy and fit rear strut bushes. :bowrofl:

cost me 160 for front foam cell shocks in me patrol that price is way off the mark. springs are about 100 a pair

aparently gabriel shocks are identical to KYB, just made in a diffrent country?
anywho, im happy to pay $625. all i need to do is start savin for sum 17s...
shouldnt be any issues with havin the stock rims on with it being lowered?

that better not be the case..i forked out over $300 for the KYB's and i could of got gabriels from work for half of that:doubt:
i have my 17's on (235's) and it rubs on full lock, but no other issues, i havent had the stock rims on to tell you if they rub or not, guess you will just have to wait and see:)
