But then, I saw this on trademe (NZ equivalent of Ebay)

Does anyone know if it's just the world's largest climate control screen or is it more of a MFD displaying other information like the upperspec falcons? Looks like it might be touch screen too - I think some of the FTOs had a touch screen display?

Card slot is for a smart card.. but you can disable it!

TBuTcHeR has the BIG ASS Climate control screen n all that.. It's pretty choice!

Could be worng but i think the climate control screen is push button and doesnt it also control radio/cd settings as well? Cant remember if it included TV. Might be another model i was thinking of.

Would love arm rests though. Does anyone know if they can be adopted to ours?

The interior shows our actual KL/KW but the exterior is still like the KH.

I like the wheel and the arm rests.

Did Mitsubishi built these models in Japan or in Australia? Is there a way to get some parts?

That's the KJ rear, the KH was an ugly b##ch IMO the painted stripe thru the lights looked poxy.
Isn't that centre screen sat nav im sure TButchers is, but all the pages are in japenese:bowrofl: (sorry hayden).

haha it looks so dodgy going from woodgrain around the screen and such to black/grey plastic round the top air vents :nuts:

They get snow in NZ thats why they have rear wipers.

I posted some pics a long time ago of 1st gen Ds with electronic LCD centre console for
climate control and sat nav touch screen where the double din normally sits. :rant:

I have used one of those, it is a touch screen it does Navigation TV CD settings Tape setting Climate and Stereo, they are pretty cool except for you have to keep switching the display to adjust anything. These also come out with the galant's of the same year

I think its just for holding cards. Our grandis has a slot that looks identical in width, height and design. You can slide up to three credit card style cards in and it will hold them.

If it's for a smart card its the first time ive heard of it. If you have any real info saying its a smartcard slot, id like to see it.
