hey guys, we are installing an alarm in my mates te and we were wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram. We ned to know which wires come from the central locking, and the indicators. Also, any good places to run wire through the firewall.. Basically anything we might need to install the alarm. tips from anyone that has donw one would be appreciated. I know second gens like the back of my hand but these 3rd gens are a bit more up to date...

Ok, this is how i wired my car alarm to my central locking.

I assume that you have located your "power door lock control module". From that find the following 2 wires.

Red/Green wire, hook that up to your Neg unlock pulse.

Blue wire, hook that up to your Neg lock pulse.

I'm using my headights/tail lights instead of the indicators.

I can scan the wiring diagram and send it to you if you like.?
As for going through the firewall, i drilled a new hole (used gromet) and fed the wires through that.

Hopefully this will help you out.
