My girlfriend was driving OUR Magna and the selector cable snapped on her. (I think she was running someone like she always does)

I have been chasing this part for nearly 2 weeks and still don't have it.

the advice I was given which I'm sharing with you all is that around 150000kms is about the time they retire. The nolothane bushes apparently wear out and then the cable snaps. The guy at the wreckers told me this.

Is this true?
