Has anyone fitted or adapted a vibration sensor to their standard mitsi alarm.

I believe Alarm "upgrade" kits with ultrasonic sensors are available from the likes of AutoWatch and Laserline.

You wouldn't know how i can get in contact with such companies.

yes i have.........

have installed ultrasonic senors......... detects movements in the car.......... and shock sensors for vibrations... this was all hooked up to a pager system....

so any knocks or movement inside the car will be transmitted to the pager and will sound off...

the this **** was called millenium or some crap.... check the alarm guys... they know what their doin.....



all this was fitted on top of the factory alarm in the car....TH magna..

ok.. bit of a hijack here.. but, with the factory alarm.. does the horn go off as the siren, also, what would make it go off without any aftermarker sensors?

any way of changing the horn as the siren? coz IMO the horn sound is about as gay as michael jackson...

hahaha yes the horn sounds really gay....... i curse for everytime i have to use it...

an option is YES you can change the horn... ppl have replaced their stock horn to a ford AU unit.. sounds abit beefier... i've never changed mine coz i'm lazy.. so i dont know how to do it and whether or not theres modifications needed to fit the AU horn..............

others have purchased aftermarket air horns which are REALLY loud...

yeh i had to air ones outta of my old mans soarer (after i had a wee front end incident in it) in my old mitsi RVR... dumb as i was... forgot to take em out when i sold it.. they where phat.. i think i might go for that option again
