Does a KE verrada head unit plug in directly without modification into a TE?

If not, anyone got a stock 3rd gen cd player that is taking up room in the garage that they are willing to sell??

I replaced my single din with this HU in my TJ and it plugged straight in no problems.

From TE to TJ Series 1 (Series 2 were Clarion?), all the stock HU's were Eurovox and as such, the plugs were universal. So you shouldn't have any issues there.

Nope, just unscrew that plastic tray that sits under the single din HU and the double din HU can bolt directly to the existing brackets. It will fit perfect. Here's a pic of mine:
