ok this has scared the bajeebus outta me (im not mechanically minded so sorry about this.
8:30am - took car out to get tyre fixed, then came home, total time spent driving about an hour

3:30pm - me and a mate go in the car to listen to a cd (on ACC), the stereo was cracnked up about 2/5ths of the way, for about 10 minutes.

4:10pm - i go to start the car up, it doesnt even crank over, just all the lights on the dash light up.

so i said it might be the battery, so, i put in my spare battery, which is fully charged, and is actually more powerful then the current one. i put that in, turn on the ignition, and stil, doesnt crank.

LIKE WTF my car isnt cranking at all yet its a fine battery, and on ACC the stereo still works.

all i changed was the hose from the PCV valve to the rocker cover and a hose from the TB to the rocker cover, thats it, didnt disconnect anything else.

i have NFi whats going on here....can someone please tell me what ive done wrong or if its maybe something else?

give your starter motor a knock with a screw driver or somethin. or make sure your car is on 'P' properly.

only thing i could think it might be is a dead starter motor

ehehe i did that when i was on my l's, and had been driving about a week (in the magna). i thought the car was stuffed, even my mum didnt think of it. we sat in a parking lot trying to find nrma's number... hehe. i figured it out though =]

P.S Reminds of a thread on the fordxr6turbo forums. The guy posted up a big rant about how the car wouldnt start after washing it, posted a pic of the cluster to show all the lights on when you set it to accessories.. There was a big D for drive on the digital dash aswell.. classic!
