Debadge first, seeing as its the easiest.

Now is your current sound system any good? I'd probably say rims before sound system.

Sound system is average, I want it to be allot better that it is now
I current have jvc g416 head unit and akai 200w 6 *9s Speakers atm, sounds ok, but looking to bigger upgrade with 6inch speaks @ my front doors, sub and amp in the boot

Will be rims be cheaper the sound through?

either lower it so it handles better, which helps u take corners faster, or do an exhaust mod or something i dunno, something quick and easy.

what?
1st debagde, this will give you some hands on experiance....
www.fastmagna.com has a good tutorial on it, try and do it yourself, will be very rewarding once its done.

also, you have to stop starting so many threads asking for opinions, you know our opinions, and im sure you would have a ton of people on your MSN who you could ask, such as me.

lol

Gerard paint your tires, all AMC Vic members should paint their tires :D Erik has a good idea going! i mean i HAVE blackend my tires too.........it does look good (only if u clean ur rims)

Although i'd go debadging and then sound Erik, then lowering or exhaust.

1: new brakes
2: fix front end

my thoughts.

1. Debadge (Free)
2. Lowering ($220)
3. 2nd hand set of verada or equivalent rims + tyres ($400)

If you want to improve the look of the car without it costing you anything, id remove all those stickers off your car, especially condisering you own none of the products you are advertising.

Then i would remove the AMC stickers, buy a new set of them and put them on straight. If you dont think you can manage to put them on straight, ask someone who can.

Nothing looks good when things are done half assed.

Ashneel
20-03-2006, 07:43 PM
as bain said verada rims will look nice on ur car. it will give it that clean look and then dump it on its ass. buy mine its got 90% treads lol

Seriously, fix EVERYTHING on your car before you do ANYTHING!
Then:
1. Debadge
2. Sound system
3. rims
4. lowering

Try and do 3 and 4 together.
Then do something with your exhaust which will gain some power.

out of your options, i would go with suspension mods first. You have a 2.6L auto, its never going to have great straight line performance (short of massive funds being spent), BUT, you CAN drastically improve your car's handling performance by lowering it and ideally new shocks as well.

Honestly suspension mods will be at the very top of my list of things to do for every car i own from here on in. Makes a car much more enjoyable to drive :)

P.S. I have seen it before that people come accross differently in an online environment compared with real life. It seems that your fellow Victorians who have met you in person are standing up for you and i will take that as a sign that you are a good bloke who is just mis-interpreted in an online environment. I will try to take more patience with you :)

u got photos/pics of da verada rims, i have new tyres already, but if i get new rims, do i have get new ones again

If your exhaust is stuffed at the moment anyway, i'd get it redone with something sportier, wouldn't cost much more.

I forgot to reply to this.

It just goes to show we have some gutless, coward people on AMC. Not only did they post it anonymously, they arent man enough to say it in person to Erik.

To the person who wrote that comment up on Cardomain, you have only 1 chance to come forward to explain your actions. It will of course remain between me and you.

However, if you dont come forward - I will publish who you are and ban you permanently from these forums as I have the IP address from the Cardomain Administration team.

hey there magna evolution i just thuoght id give ya a quick tip for putting on new sticker when u get them. before u go to put em on grab a container and put a bit of soapy water in there not to heavy on the soap then just dip ur sticker in it and apply to ur window now cause of the soapy water u will be able to slide it around to adjust it as u like untill it dries. when uve got it where u like take a old libary card or somthing and push any air bubbles or soapy water from the middle to the outside if u do it in the sun the windscreen will be warm enough to dry it in place in about 5-10mins. good luck with fixing ur car and i dont think the damage looks all that bad to look at. apart from that i like ur car very strait and the paints in good nick to, if u like it thats all that counts.

hey i reckon you should debadge it now it only takes like an hour, then maybe get some vrx rims or some ford ones like M4DDOG used to have on his car, then lower it at the same time, then maybe get a small spoiler and some paras. Then that would look awesome. (PS this is the exact same thing im gonna do to my car)

Erik, you need to have some patience mate.

You cant just whack on a sticker and expect it to be centred and perfect. You need some soapy water, a sponge, tape measure and ruler to get it perfect.

How bout once you get a sticker you let me know and we can organise to meet up and I will put it on for you :)

If you are worried about the stickers taking to long to come across, there are plenty of places around Melbourne that do sign writing, for cheaps to.. Wouldnt cost any more than $10
