The steering wheel is the easy bit if you have no airbags.
As for your cruise control......look-up Auscruise on the web and talk to them. They should be able to rig up a control stalk or steering wheel mounted pad that can talk to your original cruise module.
I replaced my wheel with a VR-X one which had a cruise stalk on it. My car doesn't have cruise but they said they could make the Mitsibishi stalk work with their cruise module by using what amounts to a translator module in the middle. I think it was going to cost about $1000 for the whole lot (cruise module and 'translator').

Is it really worth it? the standard gen 3 magna wheel is pretty nice imho but i guess if your planning the whole interior job then the wheel is a good idea.
Still i couldn't live without cruise (if i had it) lol
Good luck ;)
yes brett it is most definatly worth it,
i love the new wheel i got and now when i pick up my old wheel it seems like a bus wheel hhehe

i saw in a 4WD mag once, a cruise control Gear nob, all the buttons were on the gear nob, allow the fitment of race/better/cooler:cool: steering wheel. ive been trying for ages to get a real answer out of this lot(AMC) re cruise buttons, but i think its gunna come down to 'Do It Yourself'...
ps, the cruise nob was for a manual.

seems interesting... but prolly expensive.. and as for payin 1k to get a translator and whatever... i think this steering wheel is stayin on!

Just get your steering wheel leather wrapped. That way you can keep your cruise + airbag (if you have it one) and still get a steering wheel that feels good. Often with aftermarket steering wheels, your indicators go on and off and the wrong time too. This happened in my TR.
