So I'm trying to sell my Verada;

See my thread here for details:
http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32749

Basically I'm asking $14,800ono (I don't want to put rock bottom price straight up) for an 01 Verada Xi.

Is this too much? It seemed in the middle according to Redbook prices. What could I get for it?

I've only put it in carsales thus far but only had one call.

What's the next best places to advertise? Trading post worth it?

I really will need to shift it in the next few weeks to a month maximum. I don't wanna go to a rock bottom stupid price.

What do you guys think?

oOOOOooohhh nice car (looking on carsales.com.au).

All i can say is remember the redbook recommended prices are up to 130,000 k's and you are almost 10,000 over that. Also your competition on carsales there is a KH for $14,400 with only 99,000 on it, and i dont think people really car about the "highway k's" thing, they just see a higher number.

Carsales is probably the best place online to advertise your car. However the trading post helps get calls from those who dont use the internet (older people who may be interested in this verada and not the net). So i think because u want to shift it soon id put in and ad there, cant hurt. Also if you dont put k's in the tradingpost ad least you can have them on the phone to explain that you travel the highway alot, mention cruise control etc.

Theres always eBay, MILLIONS of people look there, and ive only bought cars via that not sold so maybe someone else has more experience.

Good luck mate, and sorry im quite a few grand short of buying it from you (oh and wrong state).

If you want to move it quickly, i think 13.5k should get it done. It looks like a nice car bt does have higher kms. Try advertising on drive.com.au (they have a big promo on atm and are getting alot of viewers) also the trading post.
