hey i got my car back from getting a service and my 98 3.0L auto magna seams to be munching through the fuel a lot more allmost twice as fast, can any one help or have had similar problems?

was your fuel filter changed? if so, you'll find that your engine is actually getting petrol now where is was probably lacing before :D lol

If they reset your computer give it a few days. It may need to settle and re learn your driving habits.

depending of the quality of the service, the mech might check your ECU for recorded faults and finding none, might have reset the ECU (or fixed minor faults and reset it) and as wrex said, if they reset the ECU then it will take some time for it to learn our driving habits, and if you have an auto, it will take the computer time to learn how you go thru the gears. after a tank it could go back to your normal consumption (if you are driving the same way)
