do the 380 complete cylinder heads "bolt on" to the 3.5 blocks and doewes the std 3.5 manifolds line up with the 380 heads (i understand the throttle body is different)

No I don't have the answer..... but if you call a Magna specialist mechanic they should be able to tell you.

i think its a bit early to ask i dont think anyone would have pulled one a part as of yet

are the 6g72 heads interchangable with 6g74??

because the 3.8 is a 6g75

Apparently they are.

You'd have some mean compression if you got a 6G72 head onto a 6g74 :P wonder if the coolant galleries are the same and how much you need to play with the combustion chamber:think:
