Well i thought id go the "easy" way about it and just try break the orange lense out, no go!!!

Was a bit worried about doin it but i followd wtchmes tut and put them in the oven and that way was so much easier apart from me worryn about stuffing it up.

In the end i did it with out stuffing it and it looks so much better, ill get so pics up soon.

that looks mad, wish mine went as well on my TR. I put mine in the over and when i went to pry open the glass/plastic, i warped it :( So know i have a warped indicator :bowrofl:

Good thing is though, is that ya cant really tell, and it still looks good :)

sorry about the darkness, but as ya can see, ya cant tell that anything went wrong :D

I 100% agree with MRMAGNA, that ya sorta gotta know the car to realise that this mod has been done, but it completely redefines the front end, makes it look so much cleaner.

I've had a couple of people look at the front of my Magna and ask, "What's different?" It's only when you tell them that they go, "oh, yeah". It makes the front look neat IMO. Now for PARA's...

I hate to be a wet blanket here guys (and you can ignore me anyway) but if you look at the yellow piece of plastic you are removing/smashing etc. it has concentric circles (fresnel lens) that shape the pattern of the light (telemetry) so it is visible from the front of the vehicle a certain distance.

Removing this lens reduces the front end blinker visibility, changes the telemetry (thus making the lamp non-compliant) and if it is found to be the contributing factor in an accident, there goes your insurance :(

Just something to keep in mind.

Cheers

i looked at this from front on side to side and up side down and back to front and you can clearly see it flashing.

Is just a mod, people can choose to do it or live with it. Personally it was made that way for a reason, and Heath may be right. Just like tinting of lights and many others, it can be done and seem legal.
