Ok. I was looking on carsales and came across this 380GT. It is an '05 model and I noticed how bloody hot the bumpers and side skirts look. Did the dealer to this to the vehicle or did the factory build it like this?

I must say it is a step further to what the 380GT (and VRX) should look like stock. It looks like a factory job but I'm not sure, does anyone else know if any others were built like this or not?

Lets just hope that the 380GT and VRX have something like this as factory fitment. Perhaps they could offer it in three different tones of silver of something because some people might think this stands out to much. But heck, I love it!

by the way, the car is located here:

P.S. > Why can't they clean their cars? Geez if I had that car I'd be washing it everyday :)

looks to me like the dealer is trying to drag attention in on what is otherwise quite a bland looking car...

that is not a good colour for a 380. imho anyway

You reckon? I think the 380 looks hot as in black, its just that bloody dirt evident on the back that angers me. As for blandness I wouldn't say that the VRX or GT models look bland at all, perhaps in black they may as the grill and everything else blends in so theirs no colour differation; but, now with these silver bits here and there I think it really adds some colour 'offset' to the rest of the car, helping it to look more attractive and not so well 'bland'.

Perhaps a white or silver mesh grille on these models when the car is in black? Or perhaps not, as it does go quite nicely the way it is. I must admit the base model does look bland, namely due to those bloody hubcaps but would never say the VRX/GT does; but, everyones open to their own opinion.

I dont mind the front and rear bars, but the side skirts and fog light surrounds would be better in black imo. Carbon fibre would be better still.

that would look sweet with massive chromies (i hate chrome but that would suit it definately)

yeah fog light surrounds look dodgy, side skirts more-so.

Also, i hate black mitsubishi's.. only because the paint is too soft and scratches like a mofo.. also agree that it doesnt do much at all for the 380's.. but some mitsubishis look awesome in black (lancer VRX, Outlander VRX etc..)

Molten GT or Electro VRX would be my pick of the bunch.. and i reckon the silver inserts would look hot on the electro vrx..

The silver sideskirts look cheap and tacky.

Side skirts look horrible.
Front and rear look ok as do the old VRX TL/TW that had a similar thing going.
