Just wanting everyone's opinion on having a different front bumper color, to that of the original car's color, mine needs to be repaired or replaced but I think it might become difficult to find a front bumper in my color. I'm more than happy to have it in a different color, but the thing is, I want to know if it'll look decent, or just look dodgy as.

The car may apper to be silver, but it has a sort of purple tint on it (which I hate to death, I wanted a black car :()

Edit: Also, if you have any color suggestions, do tell. I'm thinking black to go with the grill, but yeah, still unsure.

lol, no the bumper in the pic hasn't been colored, I'm asking what does everyone think if it was a different color to the main body.

Match the main body of the car will look alot better and I will be doing the same later on.

If you had both front and rear bumpers done in the same colour, and from the same height down on the actual car (commodore cailais effect/solara) would look good.. just the front bumper a different colour will look like you mixed and matched from wreckers and are POV

I voted "Lord No! You Bloody Ricer!" - but that's not totally correct.
I wanted to vote No but it has nothing to do with being Rice.
IMO the Magna bumpers always look better painted the same as the car (colour coded).
(wish mine were painted - oh well, future mod...)
I've seen a 2G Burgundy Sedan which had the Bumper & Grill painted in Gloss Black. Was a different look but couldn't help think 'why' - Why go to the trouble of painting it without matching it to the body colour? But then again, it did look different.
If you get a standard bumper (grey/black) - it'll look okay, but just like the rest of us standard exec Magna's. :doubt:
I'd do some major shopping on the phone to wreckers and see if you can find one the same colour (assuming your Magna is a stock colour).

To get the entire car painted, or the bumper?

The bumper.

I got quoted about 400 to get all my grey plastics painted to match my car.
