I know of people who drive with damaged engine mounts that dont even realise, though i dont think they were completely snapped?
How does she feel? All you should be getting is a rough idle and maybe a rough take off.
If it's only 1 should be ok til the weekend, just dont go doing burnouts and draggin people, take it easy :).

yeah theres still another 3 holding it in place! haha.. nah its not great to drive around with broken mounts, but if you're reasonably careful and smooth it wont do anything, except put stress on the other mounts.

My mount has been broken for about a year now maybe more, it is pretty much gone only about 1/5th of it left, i kinda take it easy but i do sometimes go hard, it just seems to have a rough idle and that's about it, nothing too major but i would like a new one just to be sure.....really should get around to it.

Just dont take off super quick with it being broken

it will allow your engine to move around more in the engine bay, and due cost cutting, all the hoses and leads in the car are made with minimal extra length to them, you might start pulling hoses and leads out of places they should not be pulled from !

oh yeah - best prices around, go to the qld forum section, they have a sticky - one of their members either makes / reconditions or know's some1 who does them..

I would have thought they'd be able to get it at trade price?
Surely they'll give you a good deal ;).
Also ask them for a quote and take the quote to the dealer and ask them they just want you to get it fixed, might work out cheaper for the dealer?
