Just bought a bit of gear today. Went nuts on GE and got...
1 x Pioneer 6.5" LCD DVD touchscreen (AVH-P5750DVD)
1 x Infinity 10" Sub (KAPPAPERF10.0)
1 x MTX 800W Monoblock AMP (THUNDER 3401)
1 x JVC 4 Channel AMP (KS-AX3500)
1 x 10" Sealed Sub Box.
I've got the standard Ralliart speakers, so 6.5" splits in the front, 4" mids in the dash, and 6x9's in the back. They're all eclipse. It's all getting installed tomorrow, can't wait! Retail on the whole lot including installation, wiring kit, distributor block etc came to just under $5000. I got it all for $2600.

Retail on the touchscreen alone is $2300. I'll get some pics once she's finished.

nice and neat!
i'd keep the sub behind the taillight, apparently thats the best position for a nice clean sound in a magna. and you'll also have most of ya bootspace too!

Oh ok, didn't know that. Thanks. The sub is getting strapped in as soon as work gets some more strapping. It's like school bag strap type stuff.

Keep experimenting with the position of the sub until you find the best position.
This is one the advantages of having a pre-fabricated box.
How does the 10" sound in the Magna? Does it come across ok? Or does it lack punch because of the size of the car?

The sub pumps hard. For a single 10" it goes mighty hard. Rocks the crap out the car, windows shaking etc. The sub is an Infinity Kappa 10.1 10", 1400W max power. It retails at $379 but I payed $269. It's powered off the MTX monoblock which is 800W, it retailed at $479 but I payed $350. I think if I was to get another 10" and have dual 10" subs it would be overkill for me. There's plenty enough bass there for me.
On the subject of where to put the subwoofer, you might want to read this (http://www.fastfoursforumscarclub.com/temp/fhrxstudios/faq.asp#24). :D
