hey guys

have read a few threads bout ppl wanting BMW style boot lip instead of a spoiler. this is wat ill be putting on mine once i get my kit sprayed and put on. its a boot lip of a BA falcon which u can get for either a Ford Dealer or DJR (Dick Johnson Racing)

so wat do u guys think? does it look silly?

and hlucin8 dont fall off ur chair when u hear the price lol i called ford last week and they said $260 :shock: but i have some insiders there and they got me one for $150 when u do call jus say u want a boot lip for a BA falcon. ull have to get it sprayed urself coz ye ford and mitsi color dont match.


Asylum it all fits in nice but jus one lil thing. these a lil gap under the lip which u cant see but when u open the boot the ull be able to see which im not fussed bout coz ye not every1 knows theres a gap there. ill post a proper pic once my side skirts and the lip is fitted and painted.

its not stupid dark. its dar coz 1 my camera is **** and 2 it was in the garage. when out on the road u can see my lights and all and i still havent been defected.......................................... ........................YET lol

id prefer a boot lip than a spoiler myself (if i had a sedan), but those lips look kinda small, should get a custom one made VIP style :cool: lol

well being the lazy person i am it hasnt been sprayed and put on yet lol but will be done soon. jus waiting for my VRX skirts to arrive and once they are in the front, sides and the lip are in for painting and will post the putcomes

au falcon lip curved too much or not enough for the magna boot, was causing problems gluing it down and "forcing" it into shape. I think there was some kind of gap aswell on it.

I just wish people would stop dragging up old threads :belt:

i'm actually having a look at making one out of fibreglass at the moment.

the base that will attatch to the boot is done, now just need to sort out the curve.

i normally hate fibreglass in any sort of bodykit, but for a small lip i guess i can accept that!
