My 95 TS is recently goin pass the half way point of my temp gauge. I've changed my thermostat and put in an original one, flushed the radiator but it still remains above abit above half way and my engine bay is very hot. Also, is it normal for the coolant to travel to the Reserve tank? I have a new radiator cap but it sometimes goes there still.
1. Do i need a new radiator?
2. Is there air in my heads and thats why the coolant doesnt circulate properly?
3. Can I run my car without a thermostat?
4. What is the best way to cool my car....without intercoolin it LoL

have you checked all your hoses and make sure theirs no leaks?

well, there is like a very minimal leak on the bottom hose of the water pump (minimal as in at least in equivalent to 2 drops of coolant) can that still mean I need a new water pump hose and can that contribute to the engine heating up? Also, when I replaced the original thermostat is it normal to have it about 1/4 opened?
The thermostat temp rating of the original was 82 deg. and the new one thats inside is a 88 deg. would that also make a big difference?

The second thermostat will make your temp at least 6 degrees higher as the temp listed is the temp it opens at.

When you changed your rad cap did you make sure you got one suitable for recovery tanks?

Water flowing into the recovery tank is fairly normal and is of no real concern unless the rad level is going down and is low when you check it cold.

As was said b4 check all your hoses are tight and in good nick.

1/2 scale temp isnt too unusual but try a lower temp thermostat if its going higher.:D

mine hovers around half way, but if yours is higher, maybe u should check your fans and water pump, if your water pumps ****ed it may restrict water flow or stop it all together

Before you panic about temp, get a propert thermometer and check the coolant temp at full operating temp.

When the guage gets to above the half way point is the thermo coming on?

WHen driving does it run cooler than when it is hot?

Change that hose, however it is not the cause of your problems. The cap, if it is not genuine, get rid of if and get a genuine one.
