This morning twice i started the engine and as soon as i started the engine and put the tippy into reverse the engine stalled. I haven't had the problem for the rest of today and hope it never happens again. But just wondering if this is a sign of bad things to come..........
Has anyone with tippy TJ or ralliart had this problem before?

A week after I bought my manual sports sometimes when I started it the engine would stall afew seconds after starting, so I took it back to where I got it from and they said that magna's do this sort of thing when the battery is dieing. He said it had something to do with the ECU not getting all nesscery power sometimes after starting due to low power left in the battery.
Anyhow let us know how it goes.

:D well took my car to a battery place to have it checked and the battery is running out of grunt....so it's not letting the car electrics to run properly. So $115 later...i have a new battery...hopefully that's the problem fixed.

what kind of battery did you have put in? ive been told the century batteries are pretty good.. was told by spare parts not to go with the black diamond mitsu ones as they dont last anywhere near as long..

well problems fixed..
hadnt had any problems what so ever all week, then today i got stuck in town, COMPLETLEY dead.. got it jump started which got me home...
Went to autobarn and got myself a Century Ultra High Performance battery.. cant remember what number it was.. they looked it up in some book..
anyway, $119 less $10 off for some easter bonus..
car has never started better.. sounds a lot healthier.. took forever to re-program the eclipse HU.. the bloody book is as thick as the entire car's owners manual lol
hopefully now, i wont be getting stuck anywhere:D
