just wondering if any one has fitted a exedy heavy duty clutch kit for a 3.5 and has had problems?

Part number is : MBK-7223HD

Sorry, don't have any advice on the exedy clutch.. but I will be interested in the outcome. I have an Xtreme clutch fitted to my car and it hums quite loudly just before it fully engages when trying to take off slowly which is quite annoying.

I think i have the same xtreme clutch as you and dont seem to have any noise issues, although mine has always had a slight shudder when taking off in first.

Guys just letting u know that the flywheel has to be modified in order to fit up this clutch kit,

exedy failed to tell us this on 3 occasions saying that we had the wrong flywheel (flywheels are the same for the 3.0 and 3.5 starting from TE 96 right up until 04 models?

the inside of the flywheel has to be made a bit wider, i think it was about 5mm, this is to allow the the center od the clutch disk to clear
