Hey all. I bought paras for my 3rd a while ago and now i want to replace the parker with an led globe. According to the markings on top of the para the parker globe is a wedge type (t4w) but open her up and the globe is actually a single terminal bayonet? Anyone know why? The bayonet looks factory as a spring clip of sorts is what holds the main headlight globe in is part of it. Can I get single terminal bayonet LEDs?

k i got parras on my TH which are off a KJ verada and it has wedge type glopes. so i jus went to autobarn and got me sum blue LED wedge type and its perfact. can u post a pic of wat urs look like.

Mine I think are off a VRX. Got them from mitsi spares in adelaide. They are two piece. Either way the T4W marking on the headlight is incorrect. The parker is in actual fact a bayonet; not wedge type. I think they call it a BA9 socket.:cry:

ahhh thats gay. can u get LED in bayonet? if not jus change the wire for that so u can install the edge globe

Had a look already. To retro fit the wedge globe holder id have to remove the bracket that holds the bayonet in which holds the headlight globe in. Did a quick search on the net while i was waiting a response to my last post and you can in fact get LEDs in BA9 but are extremely hard to find. Tobin electronics sell them so i have to wait til Monday before i can find out if theyre the right ones. Thanks anyway bud.

How can yours have wedge base parkers if they're off a KJ? Veradas don't have parkers in the headlights, mine has a blanking plug with what looks like a phillips head screw.
