Hi,

I need to temporarily drop the crossmember of my TF Magna by about 2cm on the left side to allow a new fuel line to be placed behind it. Is this possible?

What happens if I undo the 4 bolts and rear engine mount while the front is jacked up? Will it drop down? Would I need to disconnect the steering wheel connector?

Cheers,

Jake

if its similar to my TS, you will have to remove the pinch bolt, that holds the steering column to the rack, and the power steer lines, it should be fine with only three mounts for a little while, i left my TS like that for a while whilst repairing it, with the front jacked up.
It can be a pit of a bastard to get the cloumn back on the rack, i'm not sure if it is master splined, my TS was'nt

The trouble is that I've got a nice new fuel line. And the only way I can get it in is by:

A) Cutting it
B) unbending it, inserting it and bending it back
C) Moving the crossmember down on the left side
D) Getting Mitsubishi to do it
