Hi all,

I got a bit creative with my rear lights and some pinstripe.

After a roll of 3mm whit pinstripe, a few hours and ALOT of patience... i have the below product.

I havent done the second one, but was wondering what everyone thinks about it first.

I think i'm gonna have to do the both to get a full scope of what it will look like...

I'll post some pics 2moro of the whole thing complete.

The good thing is, if it doesnt work for me... i can just peel off the pinstripe (Unlike tinting)

Come to think of it...

Has anyone tinted their lights on a KH?

I would like to see how it looks.

Whether it looks good or not, its a clean looking job so congrats on that.

As to how it looks, hmm, I think it looks fine. Not great, but not bad. So its down to if YOU like them.

I did this on my previous car because the rear lights were very bland...

I thought i would try it on the Verada, but there is already plenty of character in the rear lights...

So i'm not so sure.

Modified tail lights just don't do it for me at all, they have to be really subtle. I think ego has tinted back tail lights, I'm not sure whether it would suit silver paint though. I've seen altezzas that nearly suit silver magnas but they still look a bit cheap and tacky.

Nice effort none the less and at the end of the day it's your car so do whatever makes you happy.

Dont like altezza's...

There's plenty of depth in the lights... i think this takes away from it all...

This is prob why im not 100% taken by them.

hmm... maybe i will say goodbye to 2 1/2 hours work 2moro...

But there was only gonna be one way to see if it worked.

i think the white might stand out a little too much, a black or chrome strip might look better.

I definetely think CHROME would like tacky.

All depends whether you like it or not. Modding cars is unique, and why would you do something just to be the same as someone else?? Doesn't make sense.... I have chrome checkerplate behind my numberplate because I like it. Some people think it's crap, i think its alright. Each to their own I guess....
