hey all i'm working on making a downhill run magna to beat all the little S13's around my area and i'm trying to figure out handling upgrads that i'd need (not going for speed as of yet) currently i have a strut brace (dont get me started on the problems i had with that) and will soon have a rear swaybar adjusted to the tightest or possably 2nd. other than that what else is there

springs, shocks, swaybars, strut braces, tyres, brakes, wheel alignment.

- coilovers
- camber kit
- rear strut brace
- roll cage
- seam welded body
- weld shut doors
- BIG brakes
- CF or Fibreglass panels
- panda paint scheme
basically any thing that will make the body (and suspension to a point) stiffer.

I'm interested in knowing what possible problems you've had with a strut brace????
I don't have one myself - but I'm led to believe they are about he most straight forward modification you can do on a magna...............
Can't see how anything could go wrong with one.

Im pretty sure it came up before, but many members noticed little to no difference by having a strut brace installed.
From what I've understood rom members so far, lowering, good tyres, front swaybar (and rear if not a sports/vrx/gtv) and good brakes are the key.
Oh and last but not least, airhorns!

ummm
if you're going for a downhill run, then number 1 on your list should be bigger/better brakes. esp if your car is an auto!

the problem isn't with the brace its with getting the damn thing, over a month to recieve it then its got 2 of the same side brackets on it so now i'm waiting for a new bracket to be sent out
