Hey all,
I got handy with photoshop, and removed the badges from the back of my KH.
Just thought i'd hear the peoples voice?
Look better without badges, but it is worth the bother? Why do they put them on in the first place. I seen an 380 (rental car) without them!:surprised

Why do they put them on in the first place.
The manufacturer's would want to tell the world what type of car this is...
I think by now people know this is a Mitsubishi, and i don't have to advertise its a 3.5l or an xi.

Ditch them all.. cars look so much better without them.. People with badges just feel insecure about what they drive and need a badge to tell everyone what it is..:D

If you're asking whether to debadge, then you should just do it.;)
I debadged the wagon and, although I can tell where the badges were, I like the look. I'm hoping a claybar will make it look even better.:)

I feel the same too, except mine's a VR-X :P
I took the 3.5 badges off the side yesterday though. Looks cleaner without them. Piece of piss to do too.

i recon de-badged cars look like the panel beater was too lazy to re fit them after it was hit.
I was going to buy all brand new badges and replace the old ones

i took the advance badge off my magna and replaced it with a ralli///art aluminium badge i got off ebay for like 6 bucks, and left the other badges on, it looks pretty good
badges off.
Creates clean lines and doesnt distract your eye away from the car as a whole.

Badges look ok, but its better without, i want to remove the mitsubishi and the magna from both sides of the lower boot on the TJ, but the chrome diamonds are staying :) besides the nose cone bit looks unco without them!

I actually think the badge on the nose of the TJ looks like a pimple on a nose..

In some cases that's a good thing....*cough* Gav *cough*.
Where is Gav by the way? It just hasn't been the same without him.
Last i heard his magna is nearly on the road lol.

This may seems odd but I am rather proud of the car's name and will leave it on. Some time removing the badge just makes it feel bare and nothing Special about it.
Example, to see a Sports version and to take it off will look like any other Magna.

NEWS FLASH!
It is a magna..
I dont see how people can really think by having a different interior or bodykit that somehow the Walliart, VRX, Sports, Executive, ALtera, Solara, Verada, Advance, LS, ES, TL, TW are anything but a magna?
Ask just about any person who doesnt own 1 of the above and they will say.. Who cares what model it is.. Its a magna..
Its the same with any other Manufacturer.. A Ford BA is a Ford BA.. whether its XR6, XR8, XT etc etc

hmm you got me lol
Though I felt stuff like VRX and series II always caught my eyes.
I actually think the badge on the nose of the TJ looks like a pimple on a nose..
I know what you mean, I want to take mine off, it doesnt look too bad on the black tj's.
Its not as bad as the mis matched colour of the ford emblem though. If I ever get one, thats the first thing to go. FPV or not.

In reply to onkytonk's post, perhaps remove all the existing badges and whack a big TL diamond on the bootlid above the number plate? Just a thought.
I don't plan on removing my badges at all as I like them, especially the 3.5 ones on the side.
