Ok im bitting the bullet and spending MORE money on my car...

I already have a Pioneer TS-W306C and JVC 4 channel amp (cant remember model).

I'm looking at getting a 2nd TS-W306C and a GM-D510M d class mono block to run them both at 2ohm. I'll use the JVC for the speakers or sell it? not sure yet.

I also have a Dynamat "bulk" pack on order which i pick up tomorrow.

Just wondering if anyone has used a GM-D510M before and what you thought of it as i have heard mixed opinions. by the end of the week i'll probably have spent another $1000 so i want to make sure its well spent and not something im going to be unhappy with.

The plan for tomorrow is to do the sound deadening then over the next 2 weeks do the install... well thats the plan anyway :D

i had this exact setup in my car mate (i had 305c's, exactly the same, just 05 model) take the time to get the amped dialed in and it sound bloody awsome, really gives ya that "hit in the back of the head" feeling, a very worth while set up imo.... should sound even better with s/d aswell

Sounds like a plan, use the other amp on the speakers.

Deadening for the doors and bootlid?

Should go nicely.

remember clean thoroughly with turps or prepsol also do up al the bolts in your door as they work their way loose and rattle pretty badly.

Cool thanks for the tips :)

I start working at strathfield soon so ill get one of the guys there to tune it all :)

As for the deadening yeah the bulk pake gives me 9 18"x36" sheets so ill do the boot front doors parcel shelf and might have some left over?

Picked it all up yesterday, after driving to every corner of perth. Cannington, Midland, Karrinyup, Floreat... haha but saved me over $100 so im not complaining.

Got home at 1:30pm then it started...

Subs and amp are in and god do the hammer :D im so happy with them. But now i NEED to fit the dynamat hahaha just need the time to do it. I havent hard mounted the box yet so i'll pull it all out to lay the dynamat.

Anyone got anytips on laying it?

take it out to dinner, a few drinks, show it a good time, it might not happen on the first date, but trust me, it will happen...
