Hi guys, I've done a few searches and really hadn't got a clear answer if its possible to fit parabolic headlights on a TE 96?

I love those lights, just wondering what modifications I need to do? It appears that the lights are actually wider then the standard TE's?
Im not sure, but how much and where could I actually get these?

Good luck finding some that arent way to expensive..

no mods needed to fit em but u do need to rewire them as the standerd and the verada/VRX loom are different. and if you want a pair its best to go too your nearest mitsi wreckers and put your name down for a pair as they are really hard to come across. i had to wait 6 months to get a pair in really good condition

and could someone fill me in with this one piece and two piece parabolics? Perhaps a picture could help me out.
do I need to change any front bars/panels or indicators?
what model for which type of parabolics, I need to know which model of these parabolics am I suppose to ask for at the wreckers.

one pce = comes with indicator attached

two pce = indicator comes separate.

one pce = TJ onwards

two pce = TE up to TJ

one pce = plastic glass thing

two pce = glass.

Hi there, I be glad to let you know that they fit. I have 2 piece paras on my TE 4 cyl, so that shouldnt be a problem. Tough fitting with the side indicators though as I did not have the Verada light brackets.

so if i was too install two piece (presuming its cheaper) all i do is just fit the new parabolics in with my old te indicators? which verada model can I get to put these two piece para's on?
Just need to know if I were to ask the wreckers.

jus go to wreckers and say u want parras or headlights for a KH verada.

Ur no dont say paras as some mentioned. Just say Verada headlights. Sounds cheaper and you may get better pricing lol. But Honestly I dont think they know the term parabolics, dont use it. Even in Mitsubishi I used Verada headlights and they know what is it instantly.

You do not need the side inidcators for 2 piece, but however it would be EXCELLENT if they provide you with the Verada headlight brackets for it or you will have a tough time fitting it altogether.

yer the models in verada run the same as the standard magna except its a K, so TE=KE, TF=KF etc

I love those chrome grills. Where does one get them from and how much?

They are Verada grills, got 1 on my car atm.

More detail, is a verada KH Xi grille cost about $189.00 brand new.
Is subjective to the magna's body colour like black, white are good candidates. Not every colour would go well.

By the way I saw a colour coded KH Xi grille for a maroon coloured Magna.

I believe the chrome came out on the XI's, and the colour coded ones came on the EI's.
