as for my name, i listen to alot of tupac, he says 'thug' and 'thugged out' and general black comments alot and i would like it for a number plate but 2 things prevent me from it

1. im not black
2. ppl would key my car, then ppl would prolly key the original key marks... then prolly wipe some poo in the key marks, repaint the black over it then i would drive around thinking to myself "my car smells like sh*t"

Why do the 1st Gens miss out, if i had 100K a year i'd do it so fast. Its great, but who has the money in reality?? if they did they wouldnt own a Magna lol, my theory is we own Magnas cause where cheap and want cars that can do 300k on the same engine!!!

If money was no object... I'd go Lambo doors on front & Suicide doors on back.

Lambo door kits are as cheap as 400 bucks here in the states, i'll probably be doing it after all my performance work is done and i score a few more contracts for some extra cash. And converting the rears to suicide shouldnt be 'too' hard to acheive, depending on whether or not you want to relocate the door handle to the other side of the door or not.

I've been closely looking at the scissor door kit that still allow you to open your door normally and only if you want to you can raise them to 90 degrees, this can keep the practicality of normal doors but add a touch of showmanship when you want to brag :D

as much is interesting, I wont do it even with the cash. Not sure about things as my own safety, insurence wise etc.... sure is nice but Magna is a 4 door car, was never meant for this.

Lambo doors are really only suitable on a coupe. They look out of place on a four door, imo.

Bugger the doors did anyone look at the lights? Suicide doors would be much better unless you could get the rears swinging up like the fronts.

i just chatted with someone on this site and they claim they dont supply the kit to do this mod for the magna although it does claim on there site to stock such parts... ive seen these hinges and look up how to install them on utube...

they look straight faward if you have a little knowlege ... this will be one of my mods down the track though not just yet ...

now i want suicide doors!!

I think scissor doors are those that open directly upwards and close downwards, mimicking the blades of scissors. Looks like | | from front. I think Lambo doors are those which open out and up and look more like \ / from front.

It's not like; 'here I did it and this is how', the post simply said that there were no sets (which doesnt add anything as no-one was trying to attempt it) and stated that it was a future mod...
