hi there all i have just signed up to the forum

i have just degreesed and serviced my car its a 87 tn magna CARBY VERSOIN done it all from plugs/leads to filters it looked like it was coverd in sluge lol and i found this
on the drivers side of the motor were the trans meets the motor ?
it looks like there is ment to be a plug there ive never seen anything like it because it looks like a oil gallarie or some thing is it normal ?

and also when i start the car in the morning it runs ruff sounds like it is running on 2 cyl
but when the car warms up it runs like a dreem im thinking auto choke ? what do u recokn

and lastly will 215/65/r14 fit under the guards of the magna as i have 2 band new tyers out the back and the ones on my car have metal hanging out of it

hi there magna buff thanks for your help i was kind of worried about that plug/hole lol
and yes if you could help me with the auto choke that would be exelent i know alittel about cars enough to fix one if its running rough but i dont like touching things i dont know about like the auto choke but if i have been told how to do it i will be fine :D :bowrofl:

and as for the tyres as long as thay fit under the gards it dosent matter because thay are better than the ones on the front wire hanging out of them and thats not safe but at least the new ones match and the other 2 need to be done soon too so i will do them aswell when i can afford it but the main thing is to get the dogeie wire tires off the front but do u think the width of the tyer 215\65 would fit under the gards with out takeing the gards out the first corner i take :doubt: any way thanks for your time and help

and also i am going to do the rocket cover gasket and i was wondering if there was another half moon seal on the drivers side and or any other things i should look out for when i change it

hope to hear back from you soon about the choke
thanks once again for your help i realy apreacheate it thanks:bowrofl:

ur 215's will fit under and look ****ing tuff doing it. i ran 215 on my 1st gen wagon, only issues, with the lowered springs it would scrub on the plastic guard liners under full compression (u'll wanna lip ur front guards, heat gun and a hammer, cuz they will start to cut into them a bit). if ur on std height springs i don't think u'll have any issues.

Welcome dude..

I have 215/50/17's on my 1st gen... and over decent bumps and full lock they hit the plastic liners. Im running standard height.. for the moment.... but have a set of king lowered springs all round... then i think ill go to a 205 just incase.... hope that helps.
