I put some new wheels on today, normally run 17x7 and have gone to 17x7.5 with the same tyres and lowered with king springs and now when I put the wheel on full lock the tyres are rubbing on the inside guard somewhere. If I had put 19's or 20's on I could understand it but all I have done is go .5in wider. Go figure...

It would be the different offset.

I think you may be right. Offset is now +35 compared to +46. I thought the wheels filled the guards a bit more.

Firstly check where its rubbing.. there is a good chance its only running the plastic but at the front of the arch as when you lower your car thats where is hits first.. my had stock VRX 17`s and hit there when it had the super lows in it.. All you need to do it tie the plastic back and inch from behind to give it the clearance from the tyre(somewhere behind the foglight)...:D

Had a look this morning and it is just rubbing on the plastic in the wheel arch. I will tie it back as you suggested. Thanks.
