Hey all, just thought id say g'day. We just bought a 93 Verada, 3.0 V6, bout 270k on the clock, some crappy alloys, everything else perfect and it runs great and ive just been looking over these forums an reading up about these cars and what you guys have done to them. We bought this and sold our EF Falcon juice guzzler, and already we can see its a hell of alot better on fuel, and nice to drive too. My other car is a AW11 MR2, koni yellows, EMS Stinger ecu, supercharged motor from AE101 Levin and lots of other goodies but currently in the garage on jackstands and awaiting my turbo manifold and some other bits.

I've always been a fan of MR2s, esp the SW20s, but eh, nothing wrong with AW11s....s'charger in such a small little mid-mount car...

Not too hard, ive done the clutch, and 3 gearboxes in the last 2 years, a motor swap, standalone ecu, shocks, brakes, swaped blowers, snapped axles and all sorts of other bits, and now a turbo conversion, takes me about half an hour to get the box out, a little while to swap the mounts and all the crap over and to modifiy the fwd box to fit in the mr2, then about an hour to line it up and bolt it all back up.
Ill probably start messing with the verada soon as i just cant leave **** alone, but the misses wants me to stay away from it :redface: , so i suppose its just the usual maintenance for now, which ive already done, until i purposely break something to upgrade it.

Cars lookin good Jedi, i probably wont be going into any performance mods with the verada any time soon as its the missus main car for driving the kids around and doing the shopping and stuff. Its a much nicer car to drive around in than the EF Falcon we just got rid of though, and even though its a V6 its much better on fuel than the thirsty 4.0L Ford, first tank we got nearly 500 k's out of the 55 litres around town.
Only things ive done so far are changed the plugs and leads, gone over it with a clay bar and given it a good polish, wax will be this weekend, and oil and filter and trans fluid will be when i get the MR2 turbo conversion done so i can get it out of the garage.
