Equipment levels basically, you just about have every option on a GT. The GT is auto only, and has some colours that cant be had on a VR-X. It has the following over the VR-X :

1) Leather Seats, with Driver 10 way adjustable power seat, with 3 sitting position memory.

2) Automatic Transmission Only

3) Sunroof

4) Has hands free bluetooth kit.

5) Interior trims are 'slate' mahogany, instead of a plastic pattern.

6)It has different 17 inch rims

The GT is 8000 dollars more expensive auto to auto, If you want a manual you will have to get a VR-X, and option it up,click here for the pricing of the 380 models . The only thing you cant option in are the memory power seats, and items 5 and 6. Also visit Colour Chart for 380, that might impact your choice depending on what colour you want.

As for pace, a manual 380 VR-X, will be faster then the GT due to

1)Better Gear Ratios for Acceleration

2)The manual VR-X is about 70 Kgs lighter.

Power is the same across all models.

searching is wonderful.

Hmm depends who you are. Some people like black leather and sculpted seats because they are very supportive and are sporty in appearance. Some people in comparison like the interior of the LX because it looks like a Mercs interior and some people like the woodgrain (I hate the bit on the gearstick, that should be real wood). If the rest of the LX had real wood and a back end that looked a bit more like the VRX/GT (altered a bit), then I would buy it.

The LX is very well priced as well. You can pick up demo's for around $36 - $38k and they have the ECM mirror, most have bluetooth, some have parking sensors, all have memory seat and elec. passenger seat along with premium audio and colour TFT screen. Very nice car, just thinking of what it has makes me want one.

It's not alot more, but the GT also gets;

Body Side Mouldings

Boot Lid Trim

Luxury Instrument Cluster

Rear Park Assist &

Premium Roadside Assist for 5 years (all other 380s get Standard Roadside Assist)

Oh, and don't forget the GT badge.
