hey all iam in SA and i need a auto gearbox cause mine is nearly ***** its been reconed once and its ***** i need a second hand one or new how much?????

i'm in SA... i may be interested in parting with my auto box from my car for the right price... it got reconditioned about a year ago. i really want to get rid of it so i can convert my car to manual. otherwise, the auto is fine, and i'll probably end up keeping it otherwise.

well i dunno about price... but if you wanna have a look at it, i'm sure we can arrange it... it's in my car at the moment so if you also wanna have a drive of it...

it's coming up for a service, i have a service history for the gearbox. i originally busted the torque convertor, and ended up just reconditioning the whole gearbox (i would have put a manual in then, but i was unsure about if i was going to loose my license or not and my mum can only drive auto)

not really... this transmission is pretty good really... it's just reached time for a regular service... if you take it out of the car, it's gonna piss out it's fluid, so you'd need to put new fluid in it anyways.

i'll be taking out the motor and trans in a week or two to paint my engine bay black so it matches the rest of my car, and installing powersteering, solving a few other problems, removal of balance shafts etc

i'll be putting the automatic back in this time around... but before i was to part with the auto, i'd want to be able to source a good manual box, new clutch, all the bits, etc etc... so i dunno how long you wanna wait for this transmission...
