Hey people I have a couple of problems with my TS. Its done 240,000 kms so im expecting it.
1. When i brake hard a weird noice comes from the wheels or tyres and the steering wheel shakes a bit as well.
2. Whenever I check the radiator it is either bone dry or a little bit of coolant/water in it. I press the hose and can here water in it. Also the storage part where the excess water go is full as, nealry to the top.
3. When im driving the batery light comes on. Its the light on the right hand side of the dash right at the bottom. What does this mean?

1. your discs may need machining or replacing. Its not hard to replace them yourself, just ask and we'll give you a step by step guide. just compare the price of machining to the cost of aftermarket rotors (supercheap, autobarn, repco etc) and make your mind up that way. you'll probly need new pads too, also an easy job.
2. you may just have a dead radiator cap, they are cheap to replace. Also make sure your hose clamps are tight and the hoses are ok. Make sure you put in some corrosion inhibiter, it saves the head and show well if theres a leak. When the engine is at temp the top radiator hose should be firm to squeeze, if not the radiator cap is dead.
3. the battery light indicates a low state of charge and indicates if the alternator isnt working, the battery is dying or the fan belt is slipping. Most auto elecs can do a quick check for little or no cost. If you have a meter just check that you have 12V with the engine off and between about 13.5 and 14.5V with the engine running.
Welcome to the site, we hope you get a lot of good stuff from it.:D

Yeah the battery light indicated a charging problem, so at least requires an alternator recondition!
The shuddering is caused by either heavily warped pads or rotors, or it needs a wheel realignment.
There may be a pinhole leak in your hoses, so if they're old replace them! So when you do that the fluid needs replacing, so before you take the hoses off run a good radiator flush through it, flush it, replace the hoses AND sand back the connection around the water pump, this can be a source of leakage. check out if theres any green or other signs of leakage there. I've seen this on mine, and 2 friends magna's lol. (where the bottom radiator hose connects onto the water pump, corrosion causes the contact surface to become rough and ineffective, easy to sand back) Use only a good radiator coolant, such as Tectaloy 90 plus (premixed). When you need to top up the radiator, use coolant and not water, using water may reduce it past the 25 percent needed for effectiveness, you can have up to 50% coolant.

agree with pretty much everything but..... Tectaloy is not really that good a coolant in my opinion and also it might not be completely your alternator. most times it just the voltage regulator which is much much cheaper to replace and just attaches on the side of the alternator.

Tectalloy turns your motor into an asprin, it will dissolve in water.
I recently did a rebuild for a TP owner, he had just a few weeks before put in that pre mix crap, the new allow parts were nearly write off's.
There is meant to be a higher grade in the tectalloy range that is okish, I only use Valvoline or Castrol concentrate in my cars, there is not a bit of corrosion anywhere in the cooling system.
