Not too surprising when you look at the specs.

Assuming they're both manual...

>Magna TJ Sports = 110.7kW per tonne

>380 VRX = 107.4kW per tonne

I think the upcoming 190kW engine in the "RalliArt" 380 should go into VRX and GT.

Yeah Rob McEniry reckons some time midyear (this year) we'll be getting a ripping 380 bearing a super 190kW...

Yeah, I asked the ppl at the Mitsu stand at the Adelaide Motor Show and they said they couldn't confirm anything but there is definetely a more powerful model going to be released mid this year. They couldn't confirm the name or anything but the word powerful hints ralliart. So the 190kw Ralliart should soon be here.

They have a 3L V6 with almost 200kW and weigh under 1400kgs. They are fair quick, but terrible on fuel.

I just can't stand hatchbacks. But, A BMW hatchback that could probably pull 0-100km/h in about 6 or so seconds could change my mind. As for the fuel they only use 9.2/100km (combined figure), which is appaling for a small car, but considering it has like nearly 200kW of power isn't that acceptable?

But still, give me the money to get one and I'd probably save myself $10k and get an Evo IX or wait for the Evo X.

P.S. > Happy Easter everyone! :)

By the way I just checked the 0-100 times on the 130i and I am shocked to announce that it achieves this is only 6.2seconds!

No wonder they are bloody fast then! And 300 Nm of talk is good from a 3litre engine. So if I ever have one at the lights next to me I won't try and drag it off if they are wanting me to.

You're right, they're a nice car and I guess that fuel consumption figure for an engine that powerful is ok. But I agree with you... For that sorta money i'd buy myself an EVO X and have money to mod it.

Why dont BMW have v6 engines?

BMW's have always had inline 6's and one of the smoothest around. I think they might be out there still showing us how good inlines are compared to V's?

Why dont BMW have v6 engines?

I6 engines are inherently smoother then V6 engines.
