will a 2nd gen afm wire up to a 1st gen? why if you have seen a 1st gen afm you will know why

woah long time no post for me :shock:

any way i looked in to this a while back because i was interested in putting the whole 2nd gen injection system in

but as im aware the afm has an extra wire, its also a different shape

im not 100% sure but at a guess it might work its just that extra wire, if you download the 2nd gen pdf workshop manual that will show it, but i never got around to finding out what the other wire does, but i do remember the wire colours dont match up

oh yeh any reason why your thinkin of changing?

maf is a huge ass bottleneck in my intake, anyone have the haynes manual for the tr, i have one for my tp so i could compair
