View Full Version : Throttle Body Flowing

I partially flowed my throttle body by smoothing the lower inlet and outlet side. There is still a ~6mm flat in the area below and behind the butterfly. I still want a quicker response earlier in the throttle movement. It appears that the most gains can be made by removing throttle body material around the trailing edge of the butterfly. Is this the general opinion for this mod?
Thanks
Ken

I think people are getting higher idle because they might had taken a little too much off the lip (possiblly letting a tricle of air in).
