i did a burn out and now i get a bang occasionally and it feels like somthing in the drive train is slipping, particuarly bad when going around a corner, its fine under acceleration, it skips when engine brakeing at times. i have no speedo or trip meter but the tacho works fine.
anyone got any ideas, and before you say dont do burn outs after $3000 and two clutchs and numurous unis im still going so i wont learn that in a hurry.im slightly

Drive shaft / CV joint....for sure!
My money is on CV. It's half and half split so far :P Either way it'll be fun to replace.

say goodbye to your differential.
Seen it dozens of times, and will see it dozens of times in the future.
If its a manuel time to consider getting an LSD cause all that will be wrong is the inner gears in the differential. But its cheaper to try and find a 2nd hand box (Good luck) or a LSD rather than buy replacement parts from mitsubishi.
And word of advice - stop driving round cause if something gets into the gears of your box, outside of the differential, you will need a complete 2nd hand box.
