i am putting 6.5" cadence splits in my 2nd gen doors, i have almost got the woofers in and i know what im doing there, but i dont know where to put my tweeter, i want good staging but i dont want to mount it in the dash, or on it or in the A pillar, so i think that pretty much just leaves the door, i was thinking next to the mid woofer but i dont know if thats too low, any ideas?

Main thing to aim for is that the distance of the woofer and tweeter to your ear are about the same distance away.

Too close you'll find the tweeter overpowering, and vice versa, alot of the treble from the tweeter will be drowned out.

Having the tweeter higher does lift the sound stage though. Give's a fuller, richer sound stage.

kick panels or lower doors near the woofer.
