Im just wondering hom many other people have had issues with their magna's like this? Everytime i take my th sports out now as soon as i back off the accelator after hitting about 60 the engine just dies. the TCL light flashes & ive got to pull over until i come to a complete stop. this problem just keeps occuring.
I've taken my car to mitsubishi in parra 4 times (top effort guys) but they have been unable to fix it. they've refered me to a private auto electrician who has found it to be the throttle body. Now every wreckers i have contacted aus wide that have a th sports has had the throttle body pinched off it. Unable to locate this part in aus ive got to get it from japan which takes 21 days & $800.
as every throttle body off every wrecked th sports has already been snapped up im just wondering how common a problem this is?

u dont need a TH sports throttle body ... i would have thought u just need a TB with cruise and traction control? ... shouldnt be to hard to find from a wrecker? .. and if not u can buy cmplete throttlebodies new for 400 or something

you dont need a TH magna sports TB......

some1 on here will explain in more detail....

but you will need a TB that is compadible with cruise control and traction control... thats it.
